alison greenberg - co-producer

Alison is an Oscar-winning film producer and Advancement Director for the Denver Film Society. Her primary focus has been documentaries and Saving Face was her first producer credit, which won the Academy Award® for Best Documentary Short in 2012 and an Emmy for Best Documentary. It aired on HBO on March 8th, 2012 to over a million viewers and since then has aired in 30 different markets around the world. She has four other documentaries currently in production including Rolling Papers which was purchased by Alchemy in 2015 at the South by Southwest Film Festival and will premiere in theaters in February 2016. Alison holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California, where she studied communications, film and political science. Upon graduation in 2007, she moved to New York City and worked as executive assistant to the CEO of the Tribeca Film Institute. Missing the fresh air, she returned to her home state of Colorado in 2009 and lives there with her husband, daughter Lawson and golden retriever Butters.
